Biography
Former business affairs executive with both a television studio and a network prior to launching Fox Night at the Movies in 1990 and as presiddent, overseeing all production of FNM's telefilms. Under Jones's tenure, Fox Night at the Movies premiered "Doing Time on Maple Drive," "The Haunted" and "Dead Silence." In 1992 he was named president of the newly-formed Fox Basic Cable, a division of Twentieth Television, for which he will oversee all facets of creating and implementing new cable networks, and all programming strategy and will be responsible for securing carriage agreements with cable operators and seeking advertiser support.
