Biography
Maz Jobrani was a vibrant source of comedy on the big screen, bringing laughter and joy to many audiences over the course of his Hollywood career. Jobrani kickstarted his acting career with films like "Maryam" (2002) with Mariam Parris and David Ackert and "Dragonfly" (2002). He also appeared in the TV movie "The President's Man: A Line in the Sand" (CBS, 2001). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Chicago Hope" (CBS, 1994-2000) and "Malcolm in the Middle" (Fox, 1999-2006). His film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like the comedic fantasy "13 Going On 30" (2004) with Jennifer Garner and the Nicole Kidman drama "The Interpreter" (2005). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). Recently, he continued to act in the comedy "Paradise" (2013) with Julianne Hough and "David" (2014). Jobrani most recently acted in the Nazanin Boniadi drama "Shirin in Love" (2014).
