Biography
Lauri Johnson was an actress who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout her Hollywood career. Johnson worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Antz" (1998), "City of Angels" (1998) starring Nicolas Cage and "The Negotiator" (1998). She also contributed to "The New Jetsons" the James L. Avery and Aria Noelle Curzon hit "The Prince of Egypt" (1998) and "Wildfire" (CBS, 1986-87). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s, appearing in the drama "The Cell" (2000) with Jennifer Lopez and the dramatic musical "Laurel Canyon" (2003) with Nick Kiriazis. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). Recently, she continued to act in the comedy "Domestic Import" (2006) with Cynthia Preston, the Catherine O'Hara comedy "For Your Consideration" (2006) and the Keri Russell comedy "Waitress" (2007). She also appeared in "Finishing the Game" (2007) with Meredith Scott Lynn and "Spread" (2009) with Ashton Kutcher. Most recently, Johnson acted on "Mom" (CBS, 2013-).
