Jake Johannsen was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Young Comedians All-Star Reunion" (1986-87), "Comic Relief IV" (HBO, 1989-1990) and "Jake Johannsen: This'll Take About an Hour" (HBO, 1991-92). He also appeared in "Comic Relief V" (HBO, 1991-92). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "One-Night Stand" (HBO, 1988-1993) and "The Larry Sanders Show" (1992-98). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the action movie "National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1" (1993) with Emilio Estevez, "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle" (1994) and the dramatic adaptation "Breakfast of Champions" (1999) with Bruce Willis. He also appeared in the Tom Huang comedy "Why am I doing this?" (2010). Most recently, Johannsen appeared in "Ron White's Comedy Salute to the Troops" (CMT, 2011-12).
