Robert Kurcz was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Kurcz's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the Tom Cruise comedy "Risky Business" (1983), the Walter Koenig action film "Moontrap" (1988) and the fantastical drama "Field of Dreams" (1989) with Kevin Costner. He had an early role on the television special "The Killing Floor" (PBS, 1983-84). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in the Dolly Parton comedy "Straight Talk" (1992). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Howard Beach: Making the Case For Murder" (NBC, 1989-1990). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Angel Street" (CBS, 1992-93). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the action movie "U.S. Marshals" (1998) with Tommy Lee Jones and the action flick "Payback" (1999) with Mel Gibson. Recently, he tackled roles on "Early Edition" (CBS, 1996-2000) and "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 1999-2005). Most recently, Kurcz acted in "Archie's Final Project" (2011).
