Biography
Actress Leslie Ishii was most commonly known for her roles in television dramas. Ishii kickstarted her acting career appearing on various dramas, including "Life Goes On" (ABC, 1989-1993), "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "Party of Five" (Fox, 1994-2000). She also appeared in "Murder One" (1995-97). Ishii began her entertainment career acting in films like the Ben Kingsley action flick "Species" (1995). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Profiler" (1996-2000), "City of Angels" (CBS, 1999-2001) and "Judging Amy" (CBS, 1999-2005). She also appeared in "Titans" (NBC, 2000-01) and "Desperate Housewives" (ABC, 2004-2012). Ishii also created music for the animated feature "Princess Mononoke" (1999) with John DiMaggio. In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Lost" (2004-2010), "Medium" (2004-2011) and "Close to Home" (CBS, 2005-07). She also appeared in "Eleventh Hour" (CBS, 2008-09) and "HawthoRNe" (TNT, 2008-2011). She also appeared in the drama "Written in Blood" (2005) with Michael T. Weiss. Ishii most recently acted on "Flash Forward" (ABC, 2009-2010).
