Biography
Alfredo Kraus rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Kraus began his career with roles in "Met Centennial Gala Telecast" (1983-84), "Gala of Stars 1986" (PBS, 1985-86) and "Richard Tucker: The American Caruso" (PBS, 1987-88). Kraus also appeared in "Aria" (1988) starring Theresa Russell, "Lazos" with Imanol Arias (1994) and "James Levine 25th Anniversary Gala" (PBS, 1995-96). He also worked on the Billy Crystal and Robert De Niro smash hit "Analyze This" (1999). More recently, Kraus worked on the comedic fantasy "The Family Man" (2000) with Nicolas Cage.
