Biography
Ian Hughes was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Hughes's early roles were in comedies like "Desperate Remedies" (1994) with Jennifer Ward-Lealand and "Topless Women Talk About Their Lives" (1997) starring Danielle Cormack. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1994-2000) and "Xena: Warrior Princess" (1995-2001). Hughes also contributed music to the Jim Carrey smash hit comedy "Dumb & Dumber" (1994). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the Yuri Kinugawa drama "Memory and Desire" (1998), "I'll Make You Happy" (1999) and "He Died With a Falafel in his Hand" (2001) with Noah Taylor. He also appeared in the Elijah Wood box office smash action flick "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" (2003). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Foyle's War" (PBS, 2002). Hughes also contributed music to "Single Ladies" (VH1, 2010-14). Hughes most recently worked on "Wild Deep" (Animal Planet, 2012).
