Tuesday Knight was a big screen film actress known for powerful performances. She had an early role on the television special "Teach 109" (PBS, 1989-1990). She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Promised a Miracle" (CBS, 1987-88) and "The Preppie Murder" (ABC, 1989-1990). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "They Came From Outer Space" (WWOR, 1990-93). She then appeared in "Who Killed the Baby Jesus?" (1992), "Calendar Girl" (1993) and "CITYSCRAPES los angeles" (1996). Recently, she tackled roles in the Robert Englund horror sequel "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" (1994), "Cottonwood" (1996) with Pruitt Taylor-Vince and the suspenseful adaptation "The Fan" (1996) with Robert De Niro. She also appeared in the period drama "Telling Lies in America" (1997) with Kevin Bacon and "The Theory of the Leisure Class" (1999). Most recently, Knight acted in the Billy Bob Thornton comedic drama "Daddy & Them" (2001).
