Thomas Hellberg was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Hellberg's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt thriller "Mannen pa taket" (1976), the Goran Stangertz comedy "Polare" (1976) and "Uppdraget" (1977). He also appeared in "Man maste ju leva" (1978). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in "Flygniva 450" (1980), the comedy "Raskenstam" (1983) with Gunnar Hellstrom and the Sven Wollter crime flick "Mannen Fran Mallorca" (1984). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Wallenberg: A Hero's Story" (1984-85). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the comedy "Svindlande Affarer" (1985) with Janne Carlsson, "Los Duenos del silencio" (1987) and "Svart gryning" (1987). Hellberg most recently acted in "Zingo" (1998).
