Biography
Andrew Heckler was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Heckler spent time on a variety of series with roles in "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004) and "Extreme" (ABC, 1994-95). He also appeared in "New York Undercover" (1994-98), "Caroline in the City" (NBC, 1995-99) and "Ally McBeal" (Fox, 1997-2002). Following that project, he appeared in the Traci Lords mystery thriller "Stir" (1997), the Cynthia Nixon comedy "The M Word" (1997) and the Illeana Douglas comedy adaptation "Wedding Bell Blues" (1997). He also appeared in the Bruce Willis hit action flick "Armageddon" (1998) and the comedy "Duty Dating" (1998) with Lauren Sinclair. In the nineties and the early 2000s, he then appeared in the crime feature "Timecode" (2000) with Holly Hunter, the dramatic comedy "What's Cooking?" (2000) with Alfre Woodard and the Rose McGowan drama "Rat in the Can" (2002). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Ally" (Fox, 1999-2000) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Most recently, Heckler acted on "10-8" (ABC, 2003-04).
