Biography
Rick Hearst made quite a career on the small screen and even won an Emmy to show for it. Hearst worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-2016), "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS, 1986-) and "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1972-). In the nineties, he shifted his entertainment career towards more comedic roles, appearing on "Alright Already" (Warner Bros. Television Network, 1997-98) and "Maggie Winters" (CBS, 1998-99). Hearst won an Outstanding Younger Actor Daytime Emmy Award for "Guiding Light" in 1990 as well as an Outstanding Supporting Actor Daytime Emmy Award for "General Hospital" in 2003. Hearst was nominated for an Outstanding Supporting Actor Daytime Emmy Award for "General Hospital" in 2004. Recently, he tackled roles on "Castle" (ABC, 2009-2016) and "Vampire Diaries" (CW, 2009-2017). He also appeared in the comedy "Carpool Guy" (2005) with Corbin Bernsen. Most recently, Hearst acted on "Daytime Divas" (VH1, 2017).
