Biography
Barry Harris worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Harris worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Cotton Club" (1984) starring Richard Gere and "Bird" (1988) starring Forest Whitaker. Harris also appeared in "SST: Screen, Stage, Television" (ABC, 1988-89), "Thelonius Monk: Straight, No Chaser" with Thelonious Sphere Monk (1989) and "Say It, Fight It, Cure It" (Lifetime, 1997-98). He also worked on "The Harryhausen Chronicles" (AMC, 1997-98). More recently, Harris appeared on "Rumi: Poet of the Heart" (PBS, 1999-2000).
