Biography
Actor David Kennedy appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Kennedy's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the crime picture "Vortex" (1982) with James Russo, "Short Changed" (1986) and the Robert De Niro suspenseful adaptation "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" (1994). He also appeared in the action picture "The Fifth Element" (1997) with Bruce Willis, the dramatic adaptation "Love Is the Devil" (1998) with Derek Jacobi and "Shiner" (2001) with Michael Caine. He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in the Christian Bale action film "Reign of Fire" (2002), the Louis Dempsey drama "Shooters" (2002) and "The Cave" (2005). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Biographer" (CBS, 2002-03). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "William and Mary" (2002-05) and "Rome" (HBO, 2005-07). More recently, he continued to act in "XXX: State of the Union" (2005), the Luke Treadaway dramatic adaptation "Brothers of the Head" (2006) and the dramatic musical "Copying Beethoven" (2006) with Diane Kruger. He also appeared in the Sam Worthington smash hit adventure "Clash of the Titans" (2010). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Battle for Rome" (2006-07). Most recently, Kennedy appeared in "Hatfields & McCoys" (2011-12).
