Alexa Kenin launched her acting career at the tender age of 13. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Me & Dad's New Wife" (1975-76), "The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon" (ABC, 1975-76) and "Off Campus" (CBS, 1976-77). Alexa Kenin launched her acting career at the tender age of 13. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Me & Dad's New Wife" (1975-76), "The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon" (ABC, 1975-76) and "Off Campus" (CBS, 1976-77). She also appeared in "Co-Ed Fever" (CBS, 1978-79) and "Make Believe Marriage" (ABC, 1978-79). She also landed a role in the miniseries "The Word" (1978-79). She also appeared in the TV special "A Movie Star's Daughter" (ABC, 1979-1980). During these years, she also worked in film, earning a part in "Little Darlings" (1980) with Tatum O'Neal. She also starred in the TV movies "A Perfect Match" (CBS, 1980-81) and "Word of Honor" (CBS, 1980-81). Kenin focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the action movie "Honkytonk Man" (1982) with Clint Eastwood and the Molly Ringwald comedy "Pretty in Pink" (1986). Kenin was most recently credited in "Animal Behavior" (1989). She also was featured in the TV movie "A Piano For Mrs. Cimino" (CBS, 1981-82). Kenin passed away in September 1985 at the age of 23.
