Keith-Johnston began to focus on film after appearing in the David Niven romance "Enchantment" (1949) and the dramatic adaptation "Joan of Arc" (1950) with Ingrid Bergman. Later in his career, Keith-Johnston acted in the Paul Newman adaptation "The Left-Handed Gun" (1958). Keith-Johnston passed away in January 1980 at the age of 84.
