Synopsis

Separated from their ballet troupe, Francesca and Luisa become lost in the dark European woods with Francesca's betrothed, Luca, and take refuge from a storm in an old castle, where they are entertained by the beautiful, sinister contessa. That night Luisa is attacked by a vampire, but in the morning she goes away with her friends. She is again ravaged by the fiend the next night, and she grows weaker, until at last she faints. Luca returns to confront the contessa and learns that she is a vampire, forced by her vampire servant to remain at the castle. Protected by her gold cross, Francesca narrowly escapes attack and is trapped with Luca deep in the woods. They manage to survive until morning, when the sun turns the vampires to dust, releasing Luisa from the spell.
