Synopsis
Fifteen years after a nuclear holocaust that destroyed much of the earth, two young men emerge from the bomb shelter where they have been living. Everything they know about the world, they learned in the shelter, which was stocked with 1940s food rations, clothing and mystery novels. So Philip and Marlowe, who have adopted the style of the detectives in the novels they grew up reading, innocently walk out into the 2010 world of mutants, lawlessness and destruction. When they pick up a hard-boiled blonde named Miles, she robs and abandons them but also accidentally drops her keys...the keys to the last nuclear warhead, making Philip and Marlowe targets for every freak in the world who wants the power and control that the keys will give them.
