Synopsis
Film star Honey Bunny makes the latest in a series of suicide attempts, and studio head Joe Horner sends her to a lavish rest home operated by Dr. Horatio, a mentally unbalanced psychiatrist. Also at the institution are Skippy Roper, an effeminate dress designer; Barry James, a Hollywood matinee idol; David Erickson, an avant-garde writer; and an overweight femme fatale movie queen. As part of his therapy, Dr. Horatio uses LSD to bring about each patient's personal hallucination. The experiments often result in the surfacing of their hidden frustrations and innermost thoughts.
