Synopsis

CIA agent Jefferson Stark is sent to the Philippines to investigate the murder of two American plantation owners, Cameron and Kruger. Authorities believe that the deaths are linked to gun and opium smuggling. Stark is assisted by Paula, Cameron's sister, who is informed that her brother is alive and hiding from a smuggling syndicate. Arriving at the plantation with Martin, Cameron's financial partner, Stark and Paula discover that the caretaker is a drug addict and the plantation is actually a cover for smuggling activities. When Paula refuses to sell the plantation to Datu Sumlang, the reputed leader of a group of religious fanatics, a wave of terror and murder breaks out on the island. Many of those loyal to Cameron are killed; Stark, Paula, and Martin are attacked and barely escape death. Cameron telephones Paula, telling her to take a briefcase full of money from a bank deposit box and meet him in Manila. Stark and Martin follow her; she is attacked by the supposedly dead Kruger; and Stark and Martin kill him in a gun battle. Kruger's death leads to the breaking up of the smuggling ring and to Cameron's exoneration.
