Synopsis

Expecting to lead the peaceful life of a cattleman, Jack Rowan buys a ranch near the Mexican border, only to discover that his ranch is being used as a pipeline to smuggle cattle from Mexico to the United States. While in town one day, Jack notices Taylor, one of the men who has been hanging around his ranch, enter the office of Frank Stone, a local cattle dealer. Jack eavesdrops on their conversation and learns that the sheriff has caught some of the men guarding the smuggled cattle on Jack's ranch and they have named Jack as their boss. Stone and Taylor discover Jack listening to their conversation, and after tying him up, they go to get the sheriff to turn him in for rustling. Meanwhile, Carol Howard, the shopkeeper's daughter, learns of their scheme and informs Jack's friend Manny, who frees Jack. Jack and Manny follow Taylor and catch him paying for the smuggled cattle. With Taylor's guilt established, Manny rides for the sheriff, while Jack trails the gang to a hidden tunnel that leads to Jack's ranch. After capturing two of Taylor's gang, Jack hides in the tunnel as Stone appears to pick up the cattle. As Jack and Stone shoot it out, Manny arrives with the sheriff to round up the rustlers.
