Synopsis

After an unexpected success at the Sutter Ranch Rodeo, Jim, who earlier made an enemy of the ranch foreman, Winslow, is doped and made to appear drunk. As a result, he loses his job as a cowhand at the Sutter Guest Ranch. Realizing that crippled Frank Sutter and his daughter Helen think that he is responsible for stealing their horses, Jim and his friend, Ben, decide to uncover the real culprits. Disguising himself as one of Winslow's henchmen during a masquerade at the ranch, Jim learns that Winslow plans to use a specially trained white stallion to round up the mares and herd them to a secret mountain spot. Jim and Ben follow the stallion, pursued by the sheriff. They uncover the real villains, and Jim is reinstated in the good graces of both Sutters, father and daughter.
