Synopsis

When ranger Dave Austin goes to visit fellow ranger Carson on his vacation, he learns that his friend has been murdered by the ruthless Apache Joe, a member of Martin Rand's gang. Although Rand pretends to be a respectable businessman, in reality he heads the most notorious gang in the territory. Hoping to capture Martin and his cohorts, Dave pretends to be an outlaw himself and infiltrates the gang. Once accepted, he meets Jean Drury, the sister of gang member Dan Drury, who owns a local ranch and employs Dave's old friend Hezi Watts as her foreman. When Hezi tells Jean that Dave is really a ranger, she unwittingly tells her brother, who informs other members of the gang. Although Apache Joe tries to kill Dave, he eventually is able to save himself with Dan's help. Finally, after fighting Apache Joe, Dave is able to break the gang up and expose Rand as their leader.
