Synopsis
After midget auto racer Frank Cermak beats Lt. Peters over the finish line, the two competitors end the race with a fistfight. Frank's new girl friend, Jane Harris, has attended the race with her parents who then witness the fight. Soon after, Frank is drafted and, upon entering Army basic training, discovers that Lt. Peters is his commanding officer. Over the next few weeks, Peters, who has not forgotten their altercation, deluges Frank with difficult exercises and punishments. Although Frank tries to maintain his romance with Jane and eventually proposes to her, Mr. Harris refuses to allow them to marry. Jane agrees to an elopement, but the couple's lack of money prevents them from carrying out their plan. Soon after, Frank learns about a race with a large cash prize, and with the help of his friend, Matt Hall, enters his car. When Frank asks Peters for a furlough, however, the lieutenant refuses, and Frank is forced to go AWOL in order to compete. After Frank loses the race, Peters discovers his deception and disciplines him harshly. Frank and Jane plan their elopement, but Peters' punishment bars Frank from making it to the ceremony on time. After Matt explains the situation to Jane, she confronts Peters about his bias. When Frank discovers that Jane has spoken to Peters, he chastises her for getting involved, and she storms off angrily. One day soon after, Frank spots smoke in a nearby arsenal and saves Peters, who is trapped inside. The lieutenant is so moved by Frank's self-sacrifice that he arranges a reconciliation between the estranged couple. After the couple reunites, Peters grants a furlough to Frank, so he will have enough time to get married.

Notes
The film was not viewed; the above credits and plot synopsis were taken from copyright records and contemporary reviews. Reviews indicated that stock footage of "midget" auto races and Army training routines were included in the film. According to Hollywood Reporter news items from April and May 1952, Teddy Mangean was cast in the picture and Tom Hanlon narrated the car race scenes, but their appearance in the final film has not been confirmed.
