Synopsis
Jake Bianski, a handsome fishmonger, is still stuck on ex-girlfriend Isabella despite the fact that she left him eight years ago and is now married with three children. Fed up with their depressive pal's unwillingness to let go of the past, Jake's work friends Steve and Gianluca set him up on a blind date with a smart, gorgeous veterinarian named Marisa at an Italian singles club party. Convinced that such a woman will not even consider dating a non-Italian, Jake passes himself off as a Bianchi instead of a Bianski as part of a crash course in faking his ethnicity. But just as Jake's friendship with Marisa blossoms into romance, his past amore Isabella finally decides she wants him back after all--and Marisa takes off to Italy--leaving Jake to decide whether to keep living in the past or embrace the promise of the future.
