Synopsis

Inspired by the story of "The Holy Grail," Pug Haddon, the son of a thief, organizes the neighborhood delinquents into a gang named the "Wharfrats Motherless Knights Erring of the Square Table." Once formed, the gang starts on a rampage that brings them into conflict with the Pine Tree Patrol Boy Scout troop. During a fight between the scouts and Pug's gang, one of the Wharfrats is thrown into the river and is on the verge of drowning when the scouts use artificial respiration to revive him. The prowess of the scouts convinces the gang that they are not such a bad lot after all, and eventually the members of the Wharfrats are mustered in as scouts.
