Synopsis
Dr. Von Zimmer goes before the medical council with a request to experiment on condemned criminals with his new invention that will change personality. He is turned down and so abused that he suffers a heart attack and dies. His daughter Irma vows revenge on the three council members who opposed her father. She murders a young woman hitchhiker and mutilates the body beyond recognition in order to convince the authorities that the corpse is hers. Now free to work in secret, Irma manages to control the mind of Nadia, a cabaret dancer known in her act as "Miss Death." Irma hopes to use Nadia, endowed with abnormally long fingernails, to murder the three men. The first killing goes as planned, but Irma's control over Nadia begins to falter because of the dancer's innate decency and her love for Philip, one of the council members and Irma's former boyfriend. When Nadia fails to accomplish the second murder, Irma decides to eliminate her with the aid of her father's machine. She also attempts to do away with Philip, but the police arrive, and Irma is killed in the fracas.
