Synopsis

Louise, the unsophisticated Princess of Daritzia, goes vacationing in the mountains of Switzerland with Albert Bowers, a rich young American bachelor, and the Baron von Kemper. At a mountain cabin, the baron tries to force his attentions on the young princess but is thwarted by the intervention of Albert. Seeking revenge, the baron spreads the rumor that the princess has been compromised by Albert, supported by the fact that Albert sprains his ankle and keeps Louise out overnight. Her father demands an immediate marriage, to which the couple consent, having fallen in love.
