Synopsis

Timothy Webb's wealthy father, objecting to his son's reckless mode of living, cuts him out of his will. Donning overalls, Tim goes to work in the factory left by his father to Tim's uncle and becomes a plumber. Joining the labor union, Tim discovers that Nicholas Schonn, an opportunistic Bolshevik pretending to be in sympathy with the workmen, is sowing the seeds of labor unrest, aided by feminist Elsa Smolski. Pretending to join their ranks, Tim foils Schonn's scheme to bilk heiress Sylvia Kingston out of $50,000, winning Sylvia's love in the process. Sylvia then offers the check to Tim, who uses the money to buy back his father's factory and, after granting raises to all the employees, proves his worthiness and succeeds in ejecting the trouble making radicals from the plant.
