Two thieves, "Cat" Carter and "Loot" Follett, locate themselves in the unused part of the home of Aunt Mehitabel and her niece Dorcas. After capturing an intruder who turns out to be Squoggs, the two "detectives" reform and Follett marries Dorcas.
