Synopsis

Tommy Smith, a tomboy who runs a boardinghouse in a small rustic village, falls in love with Aldon Farwell, a stranger from the city. Tommy then finds out that Aldon is a revenue agent assigned to track down local smugglers. The sheriff is killed, and Tommy's father is accused of the crime, an accusation that is further substantiated when a supply of contraband liquor is found in a truck in the barn. The bootleggers steal the truck, and Tommy and Aldon chase and capture them. The gang leader turns out to be Rugby Blood, who has been posing as an invalid. Tommy's father reveals himself as a revenue agent, and Aldon reaffirms his love for the pretty tomboy.
