Synopsis
Rosa Mascani disobeys her father's command that she marry Ricci, and she is banished from home. Later she makes a vow to marry the first man she meets, who happens to be Antonio Tumullo, a truck farmer, leader of a family with whom the Mascanis have a deadly feud. Antonio's attempts to win the love of his wife are in vain, and she goes to live with her cousin in the Bronx, where her child is born. In an hour of distress when the baby is ill, Rosa realizes her love for Antonio and, seeking his forgiveness, returns to him.
