Synopsis
In a Taming of the Shrew theme, ranch hand Dick Manners wins his wager that he will tame a wild horse and "tame" and kiss Jean McClelland, the daughter of his employer--both by whistling a certain tune. Dick's romance with Jean, however, is interrupted when he marries a dying woman (Kate) to give her child a name. Kate recovers, but her subsequent suicide frees Dick; and Jean's love triumphs over her parents' objections.
