Synopsis
This compilation of film clips from John F. Kennedy's term of service of 2 years and 10 months as President of the United States is in part a memorial to the major programs he instituted. The late president's programs are presented as the six faces of the New Frontier: the Peace Corps, the Alliance for Progress, civil rights, the exploration of space, the pursuit of peace, and military preparedness. He is shown carrying his message to various countries and is heard commenting on crucial issues both here and abroad. Scenes of President Kennedy's personal efforts to implement his policies, his most famous speeches, and his family life are interwoven with footage of his funeral. The picture ends on a note of resolve that his aspirations shall one day be achieved.
