Synopsis
Gloria Vane, a young, headstrong debutante, is in love with Victor Redding, but she is another Katherine who needs a Petruchio to tame her. She is indignant when Redding takes her on his yacht and then to his cabin in the Canadian wilds. In the woods she sees her worthlessness, but when Redding is in danger of dying from an infected wound she drags him on a sled to the nearest settlement 10 miles away. The ordeal transforms her.
