Synopsis

Goaded to action by a gang of cattle rustlers, a group of ranchers organize and enlist the services of Jack Dunne, a Texas Ranger, assisted by his police dog; they also call on Brom Hockley, who is managing the K. P. Lee ranch while its owner is in the East, and who is actually leader of the rustlers, aided and abetted by Bull Becker. Jones and the cattlemen meet Jack on his way to the ranch; he is introduced as Jones's nephew and is given a letter purloined from Hockley by Handsome, a loyal hand on the Lee ranch. Gaining their trust, he goes to the ranch and impersonates Lee, Jr., unaware that K. P. Lee, Jr., is the female heiress of the ranch. She duly arrives with her spinster aunt, Mary Ann Doolittle. Following a sequence of plot and counterplot, interspersed with fast action, the hero and heroine are united and the villains brought to justice.
