Synopsis

Mark Winton, a wandering cowboy en route to a cross-country race, takes up the cause of a group of children who are bullied by Bert Ridley, buys Boy Scout outfits for them, and teaches them scouting. June, the daughter of Colonel Savary, enters her horse in the race to pay off the ranch mortgage, but she is thwarted by Ridley, who wants her father's property and the girl. Mark is framed for murder when he intervenes, but he returns to do a favor for the girl and is arrested. With the aid of his horse, he breaks jail, wins the race, saves the colonel's ranch, and brings the gang to justice.
