Synopsis

Following her marriage, Nadine Fortier is called to the bedside of her mother in a distant city. She then joins her husband, and while her caravan is crossing the desert, she is taken prisoner by bandits. Through a game of chance she becomes the property of Norman Stone, an American fugitive from justice who has joined the band, and he escorts her to safety. She learns that her husband has been killed and offers a reward for the capture of the murderer. Stone falls in love with her, and Themar, the sheik's daughter, out of jealousy tells Nadine that Stone is the murderer. Stone tells her that her husband had arranged clandestine meetings with his sister and that when he confronted him, Fortier's revolver was accidentally discharged. Then, in order to clear his sister, he fled. Realizing her deep love for Stone, Nadine asks his forgiveness and leaves with him for America.
