Synopsis
Hardboiled detective Two-Gun Nolan resigns from the force, a broken man, when he shoots his partner, Shakespeare, during a battle with a gang of hijackers whose leader, Dapper Frank Trent, Nolan was attempting to capture. "The Magpie," Trent's correspondent, informs Nolan that Trent killed Shakespeare, thus raising Nolan from his alcoholic depression. Trent shoots The Magpie; Nolan kills Trent, then returns to the force and marries The Magpie after she recovers.
