Synopsis

This film compiles ten vignettes of musicians performing classical works. The musicians include pianist José Iturbi, performing works by Albéniz, Chopin, Liszt and Rameau; cellist Emanuel Feuermann, whose offerings include pieces by Dvorák and Popper; harpist Mildred Dilling, who plays "March of the Men of Harlech" and compositions by Hasselmans and Zabel; duo pianists Vitya Vronsky and Victor Babin, who perform works by Brahms, Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov and Arensky; and The Collidge String Quartet, with works by Beethoven and Von Dittersdorf.
