Synopsis
Patricio Fernando, a handsome son of California, loves Dolores, a loyal daughter of Mexico, but he disagrees with her in his opinion that California should join the United States. Believing Patricio a coward, Dolores pledges herself to Juan Diego, a Mexican Army officer who is really the leader of a band of renegades. Diego proves his falsity, however, and Patricio comes to the gallant defense of Dolores and the band of women who have been imprisoned.
