Synopsis
Kit Carew leaves his Alaskan mine and journeys to England to take possession of the fortune willed him by his friend Frank Farfax. Kit finds, however, that he must defend himself against Farfax' step-brothers, while at the same time he falls in love with Blanche Cavendish, Farfax' step-sister. Blanche misunderstands Kit's motives; Kit then decides that Blanche doesn't love him and returns to Alaska without his inheritance. Some years later the couple are reunited in Alaska.
