Synopsis
Shortly after the death of her younger sister (killed in an accident involving the car she stole), Bobbi Marshall, serving a sentence for grand auto theft, vows to do two things when she is released: make an honest living as a writer, and try to care for other kids as she would have liked to care for her sister. After she is released, Bobbi is placed in charge of four juvenile offenders. Set in Washington, this pilot for an unsold series was to have focused on Bobbi's struggles to write and care for the four mischievous kids, but her attempts to impress an important publisher are shattered when the police arrive unexpectedly at her home in search of illegal drugs.
