Synopsis

The Allens and the Warrens have been feuding for generations, but Bob Allen, a Ranger who is in love with Terry Warren, is doing his best to make peace with her father Jed. Terry's brother Breck, however, keeps the feud going when he accuses Bob's uncle of cattle rustling. The real villain is a man named Martin, who wants to buy both ranches so he can sell them as a railroad right-of-way. After Ranger Captain Thomas proposes a settlement, Jed accepts, but Breck threatens Bob, and the men fight. Martin takes advantage of the tension and disguises one of his henchmen as Bob, who then shoots Breck in the back. Bob is arrested, but while Fred Warren gathers the rest of his clan for a lynching, he escapes and says goodbye to Terry. While Martin joins the marshal's posse, two men from the railroad company arrive in town and start out on horseback for the Warren ranch, believing that Martin is the new owner. Bob meets the men on the road, discovers Martin's plot, and reaches Jed's ranch just ahead of the posse. After Jed explains Bob's innocence to the marshal, Martin is apprehended, and Bob is reinstated as a Ranger with a month-long furlough for a honeymoon with Terry.
