Synopsis

Jonathan Lansdale is a talented cartoonist, whose drinking and arrogant personality have put a strain on his marriage. When he is in a car accident, Jonathan's drawing hand is severed, and his career is seemingly over. His wife Anne begs him to hire another cartoonist to take over the strip, which would help them financially, but Jonathan's ego won't allow it. Now with even more animosity between him and his wife, Jonathan begins having blackouts, during which his belongings are damaged. Before long, the people he dislikes begin disappearing, because Jonathan's hand has returned from the scene of the accident and taken on a murderous life of its own.
